Views of a section of the Green Corridor that was created by putting the Taiwan Railway Administration railway line underground in 2018. Kaohsiung's underground railway line is 15.37 km long, and the project has transformed three ground-level stations (Zuoying, Kaohsiung and Fongshan) into underground train stations. At the same time, seven new underground stations (Neiwei, Museum of Fine Arts, Gushan, Sankuaicuo, Minzu, Science and Technology Museum, and Zhengyi) have been added. The former railway tracks have been converted into a linear park with bike and pedestrian paths. The rail line is used to connect the different parts of the city in a sustainable way by creating a green corridor for biodiversity and including bike/pedestrian lanes to better cater for the needs of the community. Within this linear site, the sustainable development included urban regeneration, public participation, historic preservation, green and water resources, and circulation routes for pedestrians and bikes. Footage covers the Green Corridor approximately from Fongshan Station to Chengqing Road, Fengshan District, Kaohsiung City.
