We're past creation, we're past the flood, and we're past the dispersion at the Tower of Babel. We are going to begin with the Hebrew people. Wherever they go, Abram builds an altar, Isaac digs a well, Jacob pitches a tent, those are their calling cards. Keep in mind, Abram did not choose Elohim, Elohim chose Abram. Elohim is going to bless Abram and Abram responds to Elohim in faithfulness and obedience. Abram is described as a friend of Elohim. 2 Chronicles 20:7 “Did You not, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and give it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever? This is big, this covenant with Abraham is huge. Elohim also promises that Abram would be protected by Elohim and Abraham's blessing would extend to his descendants, and we'll see in verse 7, it talks about that. It talks about his seed and it's going to be a spiritual blessing to all the families of the earth. This seed is Yeshua Messiah, who provides salvation for all His chosen people.

Galatians 3:16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ. This covenant with Abraham is very very important, it's crucial, that's why Messiah was called son of Abraham and son of David. That's why they went through the genealogies and retraced them both in Matthew and Luke. He had to be a son of Abraham and the son of David in order for these covenants to be made full. Now the thing about these covenants, they are unconditional, generations of Abraham's descendants from time to time would default and they would fail but immediately Elohim is committed and ultimately committed to achieving those goals, and He will do it, we are the ones that fail, but He doesn't.

Genesis 8:20 Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. I don't think we need any more proof really; the Torah has been in effect already. It's the law of the land, it's the instructions to the people, they already had that. Seth apparently was following Torah as was Noah. Noah had, actually, probably just died, a few years previous to this. The land is given to Abram and his heirs.

Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. Galatians 4:28 And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. They split up with Lot taking the plain of Jordan and Abram dwelling in the land of Canaan. Lot picked a bad place to pitch his tent, not a good idea. It would appear he was dazzled by the affluence of the people, and I think he turned a blind eye to their immorality.

It says the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked against Elohim. Whether or not they knew of the Torah of Elohim is essentially irrelevant, it did exist at this time because they were called sinners okay. The men of Sodom were wicked exceedingly and sinner against Yahweh. How can you be a sinner against Yahweh if there are no rules to break? How's that possible? You can't, if there are no rules, there are no sinners. Paul writes in

Romans 4:15 for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, neither is there violation.

Well that just makes sense, if there are no instructions how do you violate the instructions?

Romans 5:13 for until the Law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

I'm positive he's talking about Adam and Eve in their original condition, they weren't perfect, but sin was not imputed upon them, because there was no Torah. What tree did they eat of? Knowledge of good and evil. Well, they got their knowledge all right, and that knowledge condemned them.
