Ben Norton is a journalist and analyst. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Geopolitical Economy Report, and lives and reports in Latin America.

Ben is also a long-time observer of the nonaligned movement. Covering the recent decisions by all latin American countries not to send weapons to Ukraine despite pressure by the US and the EU. He writes that “Latin American left-wing leaders have urged peace with Russia and called for neutrality in the West’s new cold war.”
