Police Officer Kevin Cram Algona PD, Iowa End of Watch Wednesday September 13, 2023

Police Officer Kevin Cram of Algona PD, Iowa, was fatally shot while arresting a man with a harassment warrant at 7:53 p.m. on the 1100 block of South Minnesota Street. After shooting Officer Cram, the assailant fled but was later arrested in Minnesota, facing first-degree murder charges. Officer Cram, who was taken to Kossuth Regional Health Center, unfortunately passed away. Serving Algona PD for eight years and Nora Spring Police for two years, he leaves behind a wife and children.
