Most unilateral sanctions imposed today violate international law – UN special rapporteur

The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control has imposed nearly 100 sanctions on Russian individuals, as well as the country’s industrial base, financial institutions, and technology suppliers.

We discussed this with Elena Dovgan, UN special rapporteur on the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on the enjoyment of human rights.
