Two Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents have been caught on security cameras stealing cash and belongings from passengers’ luggage. The two agents, Josue Gonzalez, 20, and Labarrius Williams, 33, were filmed rifling through bags right in front of passengers as they pretended to inspect them at the security checkpoint. The footage shows Williams opening a bag and taking one of the items out, leaving it in the luggage bin. When the bin reached Gonzalez, he pocketed the item. Another theft involved taking $600 from a passenger’s wallet while the passenger was distracted by security.

Despite confessing to stealing on average $1,000 a day, the pair inexplicably pleaded not guilty to all charges. Gonzalez has since entered a deferred prosecution program, and will be required to pay compensation to his victims, complete 25 hours of community service, and will be barred from working as a TSA agent. Williams will stand trial in October.
