Pianos spark creativity in downtown Charlotte

There's a new way to express yourself in downtown Charlotte. "Keys in the Cities" places two pianos outside. One is in front of the courthouse, the in front of Windwalker Underground Gallery. Lansing area artist and musician Larry Grudt started the initiative two years ago with great success in Lansing and East Lansing. It's all about creating a space for people to explore art and music with each other. The pianos were made possible with help from businesses in the area. They'll remain downtown for the rest of the year. When the weather is bad, volunteers will make sure they're covered up and taken care of.
