FEATURES AND DETAILS
Takumitak Havok knives feature a very thick 4.86mm CNC machined Full Tang D2 Steel Spear Point blade with a flat grind. The tang is covered with CNC machined G10 handle scales and the knife is fitted into a pressure retention kydex sheath. A molle system ready clip allows you to use vertical carry, horizontal carry, and can be switched around for left or right hand use.
The Takumitak Havok is a hard use multi-purpose knife that’s easy to carry, easy to deploy, is made for hard use, and able to withstand all temperatures and climates that humans find ourselves in. Intense daily use is the reason our D2 series of knives exist.
Takumitak D2 blades are CNC machined for extreme precision, tight tolerances, uniform blade results and this allows us to consistently create high quality blades that are produced to work as designed. In hard use environments. Each blade is through hardened to HRC 60-62. The edge is extremely sharp and will stay that way for a long time.
G10 handles are light, strong, and extreme grip is maintained even in the presence of fluid contamination and oil.
Pressure retention kydex sheaths are light and easy to carry, secure which maintains knife position reliability, and features one motion knife deployment which results in quick time to use when needed.
Each Takumitak D2 knife comes in a 2 piece hard shell box with custom hard foam inserts specific to the knife shape.
At Takumitak we focus on quality, performance, and durability to ensure you have a quality knife that will perform well and give you a better than expected knife experience in your everyday life and also during emergencies.
Each blade is professionally heat treated to balance hardness and toughness, increasing blade durability and capabilities.
A harder knife blade can perform better than a softer blade. Toughness is the ability to resist chipping, cracking or breaking. Using a very hard blade without toughness, such as a blade made from glass, will be very easy to break. This is why balancing hardness and toughness is so important and why we heat treat every single blade.
Our blades are super sharp out of the box and are easy to use because we want to give you a better than expected knife experience in your everyday lives and also during emergencies.
