Episode 1502: Do you want to remove Fear & Anxieties

Today we have a significant number of people on anxiety med’s and I mentioned that in a previous episode. Why so many people compared to 60 years ago. Well I want you to hear an old broadcast (1950’s) by Bp Sheen. I want to point out several things.
1. Bp Sheen program “Life is worth Living” was so popular that the competition it gave Milton Burrel Milton Berle, often known as "Uncle Miltie," was a famous American comedian and television personality.
2. My mom said that at that time not everyone could afford a TV and she was a young housewife with 4 children and would ask her neighbor if she could come over and watch.
3. When you see Bishop Sheen present he always had a chalk board and
a. He put the initials JMJ at the very top
b. When he needed the chalk board cleaned he would walk away from the chalk board and they would rush to clean it and he’d say every time he came back to a clean board that his guardian angel was assisting him
c. You will notice the enthusiasm of the audience
d. This was a time that Catholics had a very strong and devote faith
Bishop sheen was a fantastic writer and preacher and he pulled people back to the faith along with educating the faithful.
Notice that even in the 1950’s people were struggling with many of the matters we face today.
