Simple Dog Hole Sharpening Stone Holder

I'm learning to use hand tools and that requires lots of sharpening so I wanted to come up with a simple sharpening stone holder that wouldn't require one of those damn non slip pads. First of all, they're annoying to dig out because I don't have a good place to store them - but most importantly is they never work well with my workbench. Because I also don't have a bench vise to hold a sharpening stone I thought it would make a cool project to make a sharpening stone holder that fits inside dog holes so there's no chance of it slipping and it stays flat on the table top.
