On the Samaná Peninsula in the northeast of the Dominican Republic, Cayo Levantado is a tiny island that is both picturesque and sparsely populated. It is situated in the Bay of Samaná, off the coast of the Dominican Republic. It is surrounded by lush foliage, white sand beaches, crystal clear waterways, and paradisiacal vegetation.
