Joseph’s oldest brother Reuben did not want to hurt Joseph! He told his brothers to throw him in the well but not hurt him, then later Reuben was planning on rescuing Joseph! Today let’s read Genesis 37:21-22 and using chalk or string make a circle on a solid surface. Then have your Tiny Arrow jump into the circle and you lift them out of it! Just like Reuben wanted to lift Joseph out of the well!

When Reuben heard this, he tried to rescue him from their hands. “Let’s not take his life,” he said. “Don’t shed any blood. Throw him into this cistern here in the wilderness, but don’t lay a hand on him.” Reuben said this to rescue him from them and take him back to his father.
