National Night Out promotes relationship between police, community on August 1

August 1 is National Night Out, an event that brings police and local communities together across Maryland to improve the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement and to support crime-prevention efforts. Block parties, parades and festivals with food and live music are scheduled for Tuesday night, with officers expected to attend festivities in areas including Baltimore City, Howard, Anne Arundel, Howard and Baltimore Counties.
