This September I have decided to do something different and upload rare films that have really influenced me as a creator. While I don't like to overtly pirate media, I do think it is necessary to do so when the media is otherwise impossible to obtain by the average person. It is crucial that art be available to everyone.

An experimental videotape addressing issues of surveillance and technology that allow us to see where we normally cannot. Highlights several narratives revolving around video surveillance – not to reiterate the conventional privacy argument, but rather to engage the desire to watch surveillance materials, and society’s insatiable voyeurism.

Tran T. Kim-Trang is a Vietnamese-American artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. She works across multiple media, including video, new media, and installation. Major themes in her works include visual dynamics, immigration, biotechnology, and relationships to technology. She has exhibited work at the Museum of Modern Art (1999) and the Whitney Biennial (2000). Tran is a Professor of Art and Media at Scripps College in Claremont, California.
