The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Dr. Ben Sutherland, a research scientist with Oceans and Fisheries Canada in British Columbia.
Despite having his dream job and excelling at it, he still faced serious consequences for choosing not to get the covid vaccine. It was the hardest decision he ever had to make. Dr. Sutherland had a rare condition called hereditary hemochromatosis and was concerned about side effects from the covid vaccine. None of it mattered, and he was encouraged to take the vaccine. His union and management supported the mandates, and he couldn't find any other help. After waiting more than 7 months for a response from his union, he hired a lawyer.
In his testimony, he describes the insane nature of his firing, only to be called back months later. He worked remotely, and there was no contact with other personnel, but they still fired him.
Dr. Sutherland is continuing his fight in court with management and his union.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
