Exploring Ammonite Falls | Leaving The Island | Vancity Adventure

We went to Ammonite Falls, one of the best waterfalls on Vancouver Island, in Nanaimo, British Columbia. If you can, you should go see this.

Around Nanaimo, there is an easy to moderately strenuous walk called Ammonite Falls. Although the walk begins outside the park's limits, Benson Creek Falls Regional Park contains the falls itself.

The majority of the trail has little elevation variation and is simple to follow. Although there are stiars in place to help, the final stretch of the walk to the waterfall is steep and can be challenging.

You also take in the stunning forest of enormous fir trees while hiking to Ammonite Falls. On your journey to the falls, you regrettably pass through a sizable clear-cut area.
