Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - September 13, Day 256 - Daniel 1-3

Welcome to Day 256, September 13th, 2023. We read Daniel, a captive from Jerusalem, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah hid friends, obey the Lord from not eating of the king of Babylon's food which wasn't in accordance with God's law. The king has a dream, God reveals the dream to Daniel who reveals it to the king, and Daniel gives the interpretation of the dream. Daniel and his friends are promoted. An Image of Gold is erected by the king of Babylon and is commanded to be worshiped when music is played. Daniel's friends disobey and are thrown into a fiery furnace. They are saved in the trial and the king of Babylon praises the God of the three men who miraculously were saved by God from burning in the furnace.
