What better way to kick off the month of August than enjoying it outdoors? Jackson will be taking part in National Night Out tomorrow at Loomis Park. There will be free food, free face painting, a live DJ, bounce houses and prize giveaways. Jackson City Police and Fire Departments will even have emergency vehicles on display for kids to check out. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday Night. Similar events are also being held in East Lansing and Meridian Township.
