7. Despite these humiliations, Catholics honor the Cross as a symbol of honor, redemption, and faith.

8. The Cross is prominently displayed on Catholic churches, crowns, and family coat-of-arms.

9. The feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross celebrates and glorifies the Cross as a reaction against the outrages of enemies.

10. Exalting the Holy Cross means proclaiming the glory of God in the face of attempts to humiliate it, and Catholics should respond to enemies with a counter-attack that defends the honor of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
