Stop your car, save a cyclist: Don’t ignore flashing yellow “beacons”

As the number of bicycling fatalities and crashes rises in Florida, more and more rectangular rapid flashing beacons are being installed to protect pedestrians, cyclists in Tampa Bay. Despite their prevalence, most drivers are confused as to what exactly they’re supposed to do at the flashing lights.
