Is This The Artist's Trap? - artistic motivation for creators

We artists spend a great deal of time and energy defining ourselves before the public eye. We design and craft an identity that we drape around ourselves like a safety blanket.

But in doing so, are we setting an invisible trap for our artistic selves?

In this video, we will explore an aspect of our modern culture that may in fact be hindering our creative growth as both artists and people. We will look at other artists who have come before us that elevated themselves above this trap and in doing so became icons.
