KCSO investigating a homicide in Ridgecrest

Ridgecrest Police Department said Sunday morning around 1:30 the Kern County Sheriff's Office requested the Ridgecrest Police Department respond to the county area of 1500 W. Dolphin Ave. to assist with multiple stabbing victims at a party as the nearest Deputy Sheriff was in the Kern River Valley. RPD officers arrived on scene to a large crowd with a victim laying on the ground suffering from a stab wound to the chest and two additional victims already headed to the hospital prior to RPD's arrival. The suspect was still at large. Officers secured the crime scene and recovered the alleged knife that was used.
