Elon Musk: Ukrainian Government Wanted To Use Starlink To Conduct A Pearl Harbor Type Attack

Elon Musk: "Then we basically figured out this was kind of like a Pearl Harbor type attack on Sevastopol, so they're really asking us to proactively take part in a major act of war, and we while certainly have support for the Ukrainian government, the Ukrainian government is not in charge of U.S. people or companies. That's not how it works.  I should say that though I'm not President Biden's biggest fan, if I received a presidential directive to turn it on, I would have done so because I do regard the president as the chief executive officer of the country, whether I want that or not, I still respect the office. If I got a request from the American president then I would have turned it on. No such request came through."
