Psalm 2:1-6 The One Enthroned, Heaven’s Grand Plan

LYRICS inspired by first part of Psalm 2:
Why do the nations conspire,
And the peoples plot in vain?
Building towers, rising higher,
Yet they only bring more pain.
The One enthroned in heaven laughs,
The Lord looks on in scorn.
He speaks, His voice like thunderclaps,
For His Anointed is born.
Kings of the earth, they stand tall,
Rulers gather 'gainst the Lord,
But His promise stands for all,
His truth, the sharpest sword.
Who can stand against His will?
Whose voice can rise above?
For in the still, you'll find Him still,
A God of endless love.
The One enthroned in heaven smiles,
Upon His chosen Son.
For in a little while,
Victory will be won.
“I have set my King on Zion's hill,
A beacon shining bright.
Nations bow and always will,
For His reign is pure and right.”
To those who plot, and scheme, and plan,
Seeking power, seeking fame,
Know there's a higher, grander plan,
And salvation's in His name.
The One enthroned in heaven speaks,
With love and power so true.
To all the meek, and all who seek,
He's reaching out to you.
For in the heart of every storm,
In the battles that we face,
There's a hope, a love reborn,
In the grace of His embrace.
