IN IT TO WIN IT : Spiritual Warfare That Works! EP8

What do you think of when I mention “the enemy”? Who is this guy, satan? Is he real? Do you believe that demons exist? Can they really bother, even torment or oppress us?

I’ve seen demons. I know they are out there. Jesus agrees with me about this. He contended with Satan in the wilderness and cast demons out of people in every town He visited. Jesus definitely believed in demons and the devil.

I was a victim of demonic oppression during the first three decades of my life. That demon worked tirelessly to suffocate my soul and kill me. It almost succeeded. When I was 30 years old, I attempted suicide by taking a handful of sleeping pills. It worked… at first. I died and had an out-of-body death experience before medics brought me back to life in the hospital. I am alive today because God miraculously saved me. He sent four angels to help me call for help before I died. (I write about this in my book, “My Demon, My Jesus.”)

I experienced complete deliverance from this oppression over two decades ago (Thank You, Jesus!). But I suffered for many years because I did not understand how to combat the enemy. But no Christian needs to suffer as I did. You can learn how to fight the enemy and win!

In the name of Jesus, I rebuke, revoke, and renounce any and all demonic connections to me and command all demons to be quiet and get out of this place. Lord Jesus, surround me with Your angels in a hedge of protection against any demonic plans or assignments. I am bought with the blood of Jesus Christ, sealed and filled with the Holy Spirit. I am a child of the King and I put on the holy, spotless, sanctified, pure perfection of Christ through the blood of Jesus. Come, Holy Spirit, fill me, surround me, completely saturate this place. Thank You, Jesus!

Thank You, Jesus, that Your Holy Spirit dwells within me and gives me life through Your blood and resurrection. Holy Spirit, intercede for me according to God’s perfect will. By the power of the blood of Jesus, I crucify my flesh and put to death the deeds of my body so that I might live. By the power of the blood of Jesus, I nail the passions and desires of my sinful nature to the cross and follow the Holy Spirit's leading. Lord God, protect me from the evil one. Make my mind alert and sober so that I may recognize the enemy's attacks. In the name of Jesus, I come against the spirits of bondage and fear and cast them out of my life. In the name of Jesus, I demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. I take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Thank You, Jesus Christ!
