Officers Forced to Shoot Suspect During Knife Attack

Unexpectedly, the suspect emerged from a different elevator and charged at an officer with a knife. The officer retreated, and the suspect then approached the elevator occupied by three officers. One officer used a Taser, and the other two officers fired their service weapons, shooting the suspect multiple times at close range. The video shows the suspect falling outside the elevator. Following the shooting, the officers attempted to save the man's life, but he was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
