What happened during the Butlerian Jihad? | Dune Lore

Why are there no robots, advanced computers, or artificial intelligence platforms in the Dune universe? This video will attempt to explain the thinking machines that eventually turned on their creators and enslaved humanity as well as the resulting war against the machines (the Butlerian Jihad) and the eventual repercussions the outcome of this war had for the creation of any kind of sentient advanced technology within the new empire.
