'A bit like Monica from Friends': Prince and Princess of Wales are revealed to be 'super competitive' as they appear on Mike Tindall's podcast - but Kate Middleton jokes it isn't true
The Prince and Princess of Wales (pictured) have opened up about the reputation they have for being competitive with each other - with the couple apparently even being compared to the competitive sitcom character Monica from Friends. William, alongside an animated Kate and Princess Anne , joined former England rugby ace Mike Tindall, 44, (pictured) who is married to Zara, the Princess Royal's daughter, on his show The Good, The Bad and The Rugby. Mike hosts the rugby podcast alongside former rugby player James Haskell and tv presenter Alex Payne. The description for this episode read: 'The Rugby World Cup is underway, so Tins managed to get us a meeting with the Patrons of the WRU, RFU & SRU at Windsor Castle. Hask & Alex can't believe their luck at being invited along to have tea with Tins' mother-in-law + The Prince & Princess of Wales.' During the discussion at Windsor Castle, the subject of competitiveness was raised, with Kate and William being asked about competition between them and one of the presenters revealing that Mike had compared them to Monica from sitcom Friends, who is known for her insatiable desire to always be the best at everything.
