Hi, it’s Patrik Hutzel from intensivecarehotline.com with another quick tip and update for families in intensive care.
Today’s update is really about a testimonial that we received from one of our clients. So I’ll change the name of the client, of course. And Patricia writes,
Dear Patrik,
This message is long overdue. I just wanted to thank you for all the advice and support that you have provided to me as it relates to my mom. You were 100% correct about everything. LTAC is a total waste of time and you would always get better care at home.
I was able to bring my mom home for two months. We did a pretty good job as her 24-hour nurse, but we also realized that we can’t do everything by ourselves without the specialist support of intensive care nurses. Therefore, unfortunately, she is back in the hospital because we couldn’t keep her at home, predictably without intensive care nurses with a service such as intensive care at home.
And now the hospital is refusing to give her food, water, or medicine. They are also moving to declare her brain-dead so that they can take her off the ventilator. The service you provide is invaluable. I will always be thankful for your services. God bless and thank you for all that you do.
