Biden Goes Off Script at G20 Summit
President Biden went off on a bit of a ramble during his remarks at the 2023 G20 summit in New Delhi, India. The G20 or Group of Twenty is an intergovernmental forum of the world's major developed and developing economies. Leaders from the G20 member countries meet annually to discuss global economic cooperation.
In this short video clip, Biden seems to go off script and loses his train of thought momentarily before getting back on track with his planned speech. While some may see this as a concerning senior moment for the president, others would say it's just an example of Biden speaking off the cuff in his trademark folksy style. No matter how you see it, the video highlights an unscripted and human moment from the usually highly choreographed summits.
