The Slang Dictionary (1869, London) [FIRST 2 HRS]

The first two hours of a British slang dictionary that contains "vulgar words, street phrases, and fast expressions of high and low society, many with their etymology, and a few with their history traced", by John Camden Hotten. Published in several editions in London beginning in 1859 (this audio excerpt is from the 1869 one). An abandoned audiobook production. I've narrated much more than this, good listener--search "Jack Chekijian" on Audible, iTunes, and Amazon.
