Don't forget to mark your calendar for this Thursday when the eagerly awaited full trailer for "#Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" drops. The cinematic spectacle is set to grace theaters on December 20th.

Prepare to dive back into the depths of the DC universe with the return of director James Wan and the charismatic Jason Momoa as Aquaman. This sequel follows in the wake of the original "Aquaman," which remains the highest-grossing DC film ever.

Black Manta, fueled by an unquenchable thirst for vengeance over his father's demise, is back, deadlier than ever, wielding the formidable Black Trident, a relic of immense power. To combat this new threat, Aquaman must seek an unlikely alliance with his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis. They must put aside their differences to safeguard their realm, protect Aquaman's family, and prevent irreversible global catastrophe.

The returning ensemble cast includes Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, now juggling the roles of Atlantean King and new father; Patrick Wilson as Orm, Aquaman's half-brother and newfound ally; Amber Heard as Mera, the Queen of Atlantis and mother to the heir of the throne; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the relentless Black Manta; and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, a fierce leader with the heart of a warrior. Other familiar faces include Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

Directed by James Wan, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" is brought to life by the producing talents of Peter Safran, Wan, and Rob Cowan. Galen Vaisman and Walter Hamada serve as executive producers.

The screenplay, crafted by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, is based on a story by James Wan, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Jason Momoa, and Thomas Pa'a Sibbett, with inspiration from the DC characters created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger.

Behind the scenes, a stellar crew includes director of photography Don Burgess ("The Conjuring 2"), production designer Bill Brzeski ("Jumanji: The Next Level"), editor Kirk Morri ("Furious 7"), composer Rupert Gregson-Williams ("Wonder Woman"), and music supervisor Michelle Silverman ("Malignant"). Visual effects guru Nick Davis ("The Clash of the Titans" series, "The Dark Knight") and costume designer Richard Sale ("Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," "Ready Player One") complete the artistic team.

Get ready for the oceanic adventure of a lifetime as Warner Bros. Pictures presents "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom," an Atomic Monster / Peter Safran Production directed by James Wan. The international release begins on December 20, 2023, followed by North America on the same date. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute this epic worldwide.
