Joe Biden Press conference Latest

As reporters bombarded U.S. President Joe Biden with questions over a lack of open communication with China at a press conference in Vietnam, he responded by saying that his staff was frequently meeting with Chinese officials, that it wasn’t a “crisis” that he hadn’t spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping in 10 months, and that he had recently met with the Chinese Premier Li Qiang before telling reporters he was “going to bed.”

When pressed again about his meeting with Li, Biden said that they spoke about stability in the “third world” before being cut off by White House staff who said the press conference was over.
