Car Free Days is a series of outdoor festivals across Metro Vancouver. New for 2023 is the event in Port Coquitlam. The first ever Car Free Day event in the city takes place in September, about one week before Main Street Car Free Day in Vancouver.

Similar to other events in the series, Car Free Day in Port Coquitlam is a day full of free family-friendly activities. Presented in part by the Downtown Port Coquitlam Business Improvement Association, the event includes live entertainment, community booths, food vendors and electric vehicle displays. Best of all? Admission is free!
