2015 Schindler 5500 MRL Traction Elevators at Capitol Towers Garage (Charlotte, NC)

Towards the opposite end of the garage from the 400AE's, we got a set of 5500's. This garage was built in a weird spot regarding Schindler MRL's. This garage was likely built between 2014 to 2015. The 400AE's were put in earlier in the garage, however, this set didn't come later. Sadly it was bad timing since the 400AE's were discontinued later in 2015, so this place had no choice but to go with 5500's. That's why there are 2 different models in the same garage.

While the 400AE's were some of the last few likely installed, this garage has among one of the FIRST ever 5500 installations, being put in and tested in Late 2015! This has an interesting mix of fixtures, with Linea on the outside and Generic CA Code Adam's Survivors Plus and a CE Indicator on the inside. In the terms of 5500's, this is definitely one of the more boring looking one's I've been on. However, the smooth ride quality and the rare "Australian" voice make up for it. I really like the custom call panels with the logos! Too bad the other one was broken down during the filming of the video.
