What is prayer?
God is our father:
Do we need a special place?
Are we required to keep a certain posture?
Should we pray loudly or in silence?

The most basic definition of prayer is “talking to God.” Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection; it is direct address to God. It is the communication of the human soul with the Lord who created the soul. Prayer is the primary way for the believer in Jesus Christ to communicate his emotions and desires with God and to fellowship with God.

The Elements of the Lords Prayer:
Relationship: Our Father
Recognition: Who Art in Heaven
Adoration: Hollowed be thy Name
Anticipation: Thy Kingdom Come
Consecration: Thy will be done
Universality: in earth
Conformity: as it is in Heaven
supplication: Give us
Definiteness: This day
Necessity: Our Dailey bread
Penitence: And forgive us
Obligation: our debts
Forgiveness: as we forgive
Love and mercy: our debtors
Guidance: And lead us
Protection: not into temptation
