Colombian President Gustavo Petro and his Mexican counterpart Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador have called for a boost to global efforts to fight drugs.
The two leaders co-hosted a conference in the Colombian city of Cali attended by the leaders of 15 Latin American countries.
They agreed that the war on drugs has been a failure and must be rethought, but there has been no agreement on a new model to regulate drugs like cocaine.
