El Diente (North Buttress) - Summit Ridge

Final scene of the ascent up El Diente's North Buttress....the summit ridge. There was a section of ledgy slabs that I did not capture on this final summit push. My crew were positioned at the tower after the catwalk, away from the gulley I was climbing in. I was trying to find the route up and it was sketchy so I didn't have my camera on. Frankly, I'm not sure I was on route at all. It felt kindof class 5 (not class 4). Because it was so difficult, the rest of the crew didn't attempt to follow me up.

Thank God...because as you will see in this short clip, there was a loose boulder on the summit ridge that probably would have killed someone.
