AutoBoat has smart features like anchor mode which is similar to Minn Kota’s branded Spot Lock technology. However, AutoBoat in my experience holds a tighter position to anchor point than Spot Lock on expensive Minn Kota ipilot systems. It also seems to hold better position to anchor point than Motorguide Xi3. Not sure if this is due to a more accurate GPS inside AutoBoat, but the smart functions seem to be better.
