My fishing was changed forever on this day…👇🏻

In the early 90’s I was working part time for tackle legend Peter Hazard, when braid first arrived in the country.

To say we were excited would be an understatement!!
As soon as it arrived, we spooled up 2x 8kg Barra graph rods and headed out to do some trolling at a local spot.

4 monster Barra and 2 big Fingermark certainly put the Dyneema braid through its paces. To first experience the direct hit of a large fish on braid was AMAZING!!

NO MORE MONO FOR LURING AFTER THAT!

This could very well be the first Barra EVER caught on braid!
