The process involves reprogramming stem cells to become four types of cells found in early human embryos
Scientists hope that it will eventually help them create the body's organs and understand inherited or genetic diseases
However, the researchers stated that it would be illegal and actually impossible to achieve a safe pregnancy using these models yet
