One of the manipulation tactics used by the Narcissist is to isolate you from family & friends. As you begin your healing journey from Narcissistic Abuse, it is unfortunate that you must further isolate yourself because people who have not been through this type of abuse will not understand. Some will try to give you advice that is completely accurate for normal breakups, but to a victim just coming out of the abuse cycle can be further devaluing.
