CIA sponsored Chinese Uyghur Jihadis: The Dive with JacksonHinkle

The US has used terrorism against China by supporting Islamist extremists in Xinjiang province, where the Chinese government has been accused by the CIA for detaining Muslim minorities in "concentration camps." The CIA funded the extremist ETIM in Afghanistan (along with Al-Qadeda and Bin Laden) during the Soviet-Afghan War, later sending them back to China where they carried out 200 terrorist attacks in China's Xinjiang province. In response, the Chinese government invested in education, cotton and farming industries in Xinjiang, providing economic opportunities for locals and integrating them into the larger economy. This uplifting approach to combating extremism is part and parcel of China's wider lifting of 840 million people out of poverty over the past four decades.
