Ruth Lostutter was born on Oct. 9, 1929, in Bronx, NY. Ruth passed away at age 92 on Jan. 21, 2022, in Port St. John (Cocoa), Florida. Ruth was a widow of Gerald Lostutter, Sr. Ruth raised five children: Ruth’s sons, Jeff and Daniel, predeceased her. Ruth is survived by her sons, Mark and Gerald, Jr; and her daughter, Laurie. Ruth has six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Ruth cared for foster children, some of whom were minorities. Ruth and Gerald believed that it was their Christian duty. Ruth was a secretary for pastors and churches of: (a) First Baptist Church, Cocoa; and (b) King Street Baptist, Cocoa. Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church of Titusville. She taught a ladies class in Sunday School. In summary, a Christian perspective: Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Ruth is now reunited with her husband, Gerald, Sr; and other relatives. Ruth was a “good and faithful servant.” Enter now into the joy of the Lord.
