America

America, we all know your destiny,
to make the whole world free, though you suffer bitterly,

America, how much more can you bear?
Although it seems that we don't care, we can feel your despair.

America, how I long to see your face.
I'm in a cold and lonely place; have you left without a trace?

America, we can see the tears you cry,
and while your fears intensify, we will never let you die!

We are proud to be American.
We will never let her down; we got to help her off the ground.
We are proud to be American
And we're not afraid to say...I love America!

America, how I want to pledge to you.
They say it's not the thing to do, it may alienate a few.

America, they have taken God away.
They won't even let me say "have a Merry Christmas day."

America, they are breaking all you know.
You were proud not long ago, never bowing to any foe.

America, you are more than land and sea.
You have a spirit that is free, to protect our liberty!

We are proud to be American.
We will never let her down; we got to help her off the ground.
We are proud to be American
And we're not afraid to say anymore...I love America!
