Moment Challenger 2 tank destroyed caught on camera

Video has been published showing the moment a British-made Challenger 2 tank was destroyed by a Russian missile. Appearing on Russian Telegram channels on Wednesday, the video shows the Challenger 2 coming under fire from a Russian-made anti-tank missile thought to be a Kornet. The hit appears to trigger a fire, and a large plume of smoke can be seen emerging from the tank. Drone shots filmed later showed the wreckage, and the tank appears to have been completely burned out.

The UK has confirmed the destruction of the tank, the first of a Challenger 2 in Ukraine, and also that it has no plans to send replacements.
