Mosaic Pumpkin Pillow in Bernat Blanket Yarn!

I'm so excited for the Fall Season! This big, soft, pumpkin pillow was made using Bernat Blanket Yarn and the Overlay Mosaic technique. This was sort of a mental exercise since I myself am fairly new to the mosaic style of crocheting and I have never seen a mosaic project done with big yarn, so really I just wanted to see if I could do it. I think it turned out so great! This video, like most of my videos, is a journey. I start with an idea and then just work my way through it. If you want a super organized, no nonsense video, this might not be it. If you want to watch me make decisions, and then remake them, overcome obstacles and change my approach, I am the girl for you. Give it a watch and tell me what you think. I am going to post all the links I promised below so you can find all the tools I talked about easily, including the graph I used which I modified from another persons graph and I will include her link too.

Enjoy!

First of all, big thank you to Juniper and Oaks for providing a great starter chart for me to work off of. Here is a link to their CAL and the original chart

You can find my version of their chart here. You can download it and put it on your device of choice so you can follow along easier.

This is my first Overlay Mosaic video and it teaches all the basics so if this is your first time trying this technique, I highly recommend watching this video first. It will make this video easier to understand

You will also be able to find the graph as well as lots of help and encouragement in our little community on Facebook at

And FINALLY, the links to the yarn. I am an Amazon Affiliate and might earn a small commission at no extra charge to you if you choose to purchase from these links. That being said, you can probably get a better deal if you use a coupon in a store like Joann's. However, if you do not have access to a store near you, this is a great option.

I couldn't find the color Orange Leaf that I used, but both the Carrot Top and the Pumpkin Spice versions would work nicely.

Bernat Blanket Extra is more difficult to find online. Here is a link to the closest one I could find in a pack of two
