Episode 11 - Mach I, Inc.

Larry Gunselman began with a career in aviation which stirred an interest in fabrication and aerodynamics. He channeled this into his passion for cars, and got into racing on the west coast circuit. He soon took his efforts back east, balancing his duties as a Winston Cup crew member with starts in each of NASCAR’s three national touring series. This afforded him an opportunity to enter his own “field filler” in 2004, where he joined forces with an up-and-coming sponsor to resurrect a team from the 1980s. The result produced one of the most consistent yet overlooked of the “filler” teams – and a surprising legacy.
