Released fully 2016. Insides is about loosing your true self in a system of distractions and finding a way out from it. Close your eyes, start listening to the voice of your heart and your inner child will start to live again.

LATEST UPDATE: Finished! Did all the changes I could. After investing in a new computer, a PC with 3 Titan X, I was able to start working again on the first scene. A purgatory, humans without skin clayed together by the devil (or people all in line, already brainwashed by the mainstream propaganda), showing screens of war and media propaganda. I made the sculpts in Zbrush, some shading in Substance Painter and then rendered out with RedShift 3D. New first scene and INSIDES intro. New ending scene and outro.

Update 04: Created the scene where she is watching the outside world and projected with negativity. Influenced and made with VJ tools, Quartz Composer and processed with Vades v002 glitch plugins in VDMX. Text animation added with memes of influence. She close her eyes to allow her heart to speak.

Update 003: Made a new scene at the end, with help from Particular and Flash! Her body starts to vaporize and float in the air.

Update 002: Added an animated climbing "creep" connected to a flying jelly fish, both some sort of 3D mesh.

Background:
I found a Youtube clip of Jon Hopkins first song on the album Insides. I'm basing this short movie on his album, mixed three songs, take design inspiration from the album cover and idea to the movie from the name. My friend and photographer Fredrik Wannerstedt helped out with studio and photo, his girlfriend Sandra Öjeland helped with make up, Yana offered to model.

I'm working in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Mocha and Flash.
