Not a great deal to say here.

There are three basic types of noise reducing earplugs. There are foam plugs, which are lightweight and easy to fit but in my experience do not work particularly well and soon get scruffy and need to be discarded. There are wax plugs that have to be pushed firmly into the ear conforming to the shape of the ear, and these do work well but soon become dirty, misshapen and need to be replaced. The final type, such as these on test today, are made from lightweight silicone and in my experience work better than the foam ones but not as well as the wax but are long lasting and hygienic.

This is a nice set of well designed lightweight noise reducing earplugs supplied in an equally lightweight plastic storage case. You get two sets of earplugs, one small and one large plus a handy user guide and the storage case.

The earbuds are super lightweight, just 10g complete with case, and you soon forget you have them in. The soft and giving earplugs fit snugly into the ear and once in place are very unlikely to fall out. Because they fit within the ear there will be no problems when sleeping on your side when wearing them. They have projecting arms which conform to the shape of the ear and hold the plug in place.

How well do they work? They are not designed to stop all outside noise but they do reduce it substantially, the manufacturers claim by as much as 25dB, but I cannot verify that.

They are made from silicone and can be easily washed and reused multiple times, unlike the wax and foam rivals, which soon become misshapen, dirty and too revolting to put anywhere near your ears.

For the price of a penny less than £10, I think these earbuds are not a bad buy.
